Nothing goes dark
We stand the site up on our hosting and test it fully before a single DNS record changes. When we flip it over, visitors never see an outage and your email keeps flowing.
Hosting takeover
If the website itself is fine and the problem is the person hosting it — the unreturned calls, the $125 a month for nothing, the change that takes three weeks — you don't need a new site. You need a new host.
Usually done in 2–3 business days · No downtime · Every login handed to you in writing
What the $199.99 pays for
Migrating a website is the ugliest job in this business. It is also the part where an amateur takes your site offline for two days during your busy season. We charge for it because it is real work, and we do it in the evening so nothing breaks while you're open.
We stand the site up on our hosting and test it fully before a single DNS record changes. When we flip it over, visitors never see an outage and your email keeps flowing.
Chasing down credentials from a developer who'd rather you stayed is our problem, not yours. You make one introduction and we take it from there.
Domain registrar, hosting, database, email, every login — documented and handed to you in writing when the move is done. If you ever leave us, you leave with all of it.
What you get every month
There is no separate, worse plan for takeover clients. Once you're moved, you're on exactly what a new build gets.

Month to month. Cancel whenever, and we hand you the files.
Sometimes a site is too old, too slow, or built on something we can't responsibly keep alive. We'd rather lose the sale than take $199.99 to move a problem.
Straight answers
No. We build a working copy on our hosting first and test everything — pages, forms, images, checkout if you have one. Only then do we change DNS, and we do it outside your business hours. Most clients never notice it happened.
It moves with you, or it stays exactly where it is — your choice. Email lives on separate DNS records from the website, so there's no reason for a single message to be lost. If you're on something dated, we'll tell you and let you decide.
Common, and rarely fatal. Domains can be recovered by the registered owner, and a site can be rebuilt from what's publicly live if it comes to that. Call us and describe the situation — we'll tell you honestly whether it's a two-day job or a rebuild.
No. Hosting is month to month with no term and no cancellation fee. The transition fee buys the move, not a commitment. If you leave in month two we'll hand you every file and login on the way out.
Only pass-throughs, and only with your approval. If your site depends on something with an outside fee — a booking system, a payment processor, a premium plugin, your domain renewal — we pass it on at exactly what it costs us, no markup, and you approve it before anything is bought.
Start the move
Tell us the site and who hosts it now, if you know. We'll look it over and tell you the same day whether it's a straight move or something bigger.
